Workshop terms, cancellation and privacy
These conditions apply to the live online workshop Build Your Reusable Course Content Engine. They supplement the KCS legal notice and privacy policy. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Registration and contract
Submitting the form reserves a place for three working days. A place is confirmed only after KCS receives and verifies payment and, for the Student tier, approves valid student status. KCS sends the contract information by email.
Prices and payment
The displayed price is the total amount payable. Payment is due within three working days using the unique payment reference. Unpaid reservations may expire automatically. PayPal payments are confirmed only after PayPal reports a completed capture.
Cancellation by the participant
Cancellation must be sent to contact@kcslab.org. KCS refunds 100% when cancellation is received at least seven calendar days before the first session, 50% when received from six days until 48 hours before the first session, and normally no workshop fee when received less than 48 hours before the first session or after a no-show. Statutory withdrawal and other mandatory rights take precedence.
Cancellation or change by KCS
If KCS cancels the workshop, paid workshop fees are refunded. KCS may make reasonable changes to timing, facilitator, exercises or tools while preserving the learning purpose. KCS is not responsible for participant travel or third-party costs.
Participation and technology
Participants need a suitable laptop, reliable internet, ChatGPT, a YouTube account and, for the editing demonstration, CapCut. Participants remain responsible for their accounts, equipment, data and compliance with third-party terms.
Recording and conduct
No participant recording or testimonial is published without separate explicit consent. Participants must respect confidentiality, copyright, privacy, professional boundaries and respectful workshop communication.
Educational scope
The workshop provides education, methods, templates and guided practice. It does not guarantee sales, reach, revenue, employment, publication or other commercial performance.
Privacy
KCS processes registration, payment, student-verification, communication and participation data to administer the workshop and meet legal obligations. Access is restricted to authorized personnel and service providers such as hosting, email and payment providers. Retention follows applicable contractual, accounting and legal requirements. Requests may be sent to contact@kcslab.org.
Withdrawal information
Consumers may have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for a distance contract. To exercise it, send an unambiguous statement identifying the participant and registration to contact@kcslab.org. If performance is requested during the withdrawal period, statutory rules about services already supplied may apply.
